Medusa’s Labyrinth is set in ancient Greece, bringing horror to one of the most recognizable and epic parts of history. Immerse yourself in stories that were written more than two thousand years ago - stories still with us today. As a player, you will experience a beautiful yet terrifying environment and use your precious few resources to survive in a place even the gods have forsaken. Now all this can be seen in VR for the first time!
Guru Games is the award winning indie developer behind the 2015 first person puzzler Magnetic: Cage Closed and Medusa’s Labyrinth, one of the most popular horror game on Steam in 2016. This four-people studio is now taking on a new challenge in the form of VR
- Immersion is everything. Horror is all about being a part of the experience and forget that you are playing a game. To enhance this you have no HUD, no health bars and no inventory screen to distract you from the experience. Want to know how many arrows you have left? Look at your quiver, and count them yourself, just like a person would do if they were there for real.
- Ancient Greece is not just a unique backdrop for Medusa, it is a core part of the experience. Breathing life into myths and legends that are almost two thousand years old adds a richness and depth to the game.
- A combination of stealth and horror. Great stealth is about tense situations where you figure out how to move past monsters unnoticed. With horror, you won’t stay too long in one place, because something is always hunting you in the shadows.

About Guru Games
Guru Games is an independent game company working out of Skövde, Sweden. There are currently 4 members on our team and our goal is to create intense, story-focused experiences and games that you will play through in an evening but think about for a week. We want to leave players with something more than a short action extravaganza, we want to make them think about their actions within the virtual worlds that we create. We design our games in a way that let’s them choose their own path, but forces them to face the consequences of the choices they make. We believe that games should respect the players time and commitment, and therefore we focus on creating short games of high quality for busy people.
