Farmer Joe owns the land where Rosa and Moonalisa grew up. But Joe is much more than a farmer, despite the name. He owns a chain of fast food restaurants that secretly kidnaps older cows and stealthily take them from grazing to the grill during the night.
To Joe cash is king, and he is willing to walk over bodies to get it. Particularly if those bodies are made of prime beef.
Moonalisa is the unlikely hero of this story. She was always on the fence about stuff like Joe and his like milking the cows for profit, and she never really felt at home amongst the herd. Despite that she could have stayed a docile herbivore, but the line was crossed in a big way when her girlfriend Rosa was taken.
Moonalisa had a field day and is now spearheading the Cowpocalypse against mankind. She is Cappy’s greatest field agent and a big part of the the Revengers.
Cappy was raised in a petting zoo in Osaka, japan. One day the American tourists and their monster children came: Pulling on his little ears, blinding him with camera flashes and dropping ice cream in his fur. When one of them poked his eye out he reached his limit and bit the little bastard.
One lawsuit and two escapes from firing squads later Cappy has taken it upon himself to exact vengeance on the human race together with his ragtag team of animal abuse survivors: The Revengers.
